Concubine Wen is shameless. She's using her own son just to punish Shiyi. She doesn't even consider how her actions will impact Yu. If the Xu family is found guilty of deceiving his majesty then the entire family will be exterminated including her son. What kind of mother would risk the life of her child for petty revenge? The saddest part is that Shiyi did nothing wrong but she's blaming her for everything. Her family has been using her for years to enrich their own lives/they punish her just as easy when they don't get what they want...and yet she is loyal to them. She's blaming Shiyi for the decision that Lingyi made about their son. She never once asked Yu what he wanted. Lingyi took the time to ask him if this was something that he wanted to do. A potential death sentence for petty revenge is dumb as hell. I just can't feel sorry for her at this point.
