User Interface Mods That Won't Break Your Mod Menu - Skyrim Mods on Xbox

In this video, we'll be taking a look at a few user interface mods that got updates to work with the new Skyrim Creations update! Saw a thread on Discord in the Bethesda server of safe mods so I loaded a few up and sure enough... all good. These will change stamina, health, magic bars, skill trees, etc..

Hey everyone! Hope this is helpful to those looking to change up the icons, status bars, and menus a bit in Skyrim. I think it's awesome that we are starting to see some updates for these since mods like this could break the mod menu after that Creations update. @@Filthee_casual after the update, you may have had some CC mods installed. Survival mode is CC. Is it installed? Not sure why a UI mod would keep that from working.

Hey Tech Ranger! Loved the video! I howerver am receiving a bug the Elden Ring UI updated. It got rid of the stealth meter. Is this for everyone or is it just isolated to me?

Could be something that happened when the mod got updated. I don’t remember (not) seeing that when I checked that one out. You could try reinstalling to see if that helps.

I'm disabling mu ui mod but my menu is still messed up. It won't let me get to my mod load order when I use the load menu way to get to the updated mod menu. I'm happy with my load order really but I just want to swap out the water I have for something that does not glow in the damn dark like that darker water mod. Any suggestions on how to get the mod menu to work and what mod can stop water from being so bright at night? The water looks great during the day, it's just at night when it becomes immersion breaking

If there is a bad UI mod in your list then that will mess up the new Creations menu whether it’s disabled or not. That mod data is still there. If you’re able to delete it then do it. If you can’t then clearing your reserved space might be the only way to fix it. There’s about 20 UI mods that have gotten updates to fix this but it seems that they are made into new mods rather than updates as you saw in the video. As far as water goes, I’ve always used Realistic Water Two.

The kontrol mod is messing with the creations menu, the only work around I think will for now installing it last. And then delete it from the bookmarks and exit reload creations menu because with it installed the only buttons you can use is A B and D-pad

Can’t help with that since I didn’t make it, unfortunately. I noticed with Nordic UI that the newer version did make things smaller here or there but that’s up to the mod authors.

I only noticed that feature on the Minimalistic HUD that I tried in this video. Nordic and the Elden Scrolls UI seem to stay on the screen at all times.

What animation mod are you using

I use Verolevi AiO for the animations and then that momentum movement (like when I move side to side or run and stop) is Movement & Behaviors 2.0. Made a video on that one if interested: kzbin.info/www/bejne/d5bNoKZsgpZ_r8U They seem to work well together so far!

I downloaded the old Elden scrolls ui and now my mod menu just constantly says loading and I can’t even delete it no matter what I do so I’m stuck with the mods I have (edit) forgot to add that I can’t add new mods either I can’t even disable it either and I rlly can’t be bothered waiting for my game to re download just to remove a mod

🤷‍♂ Maybe you have some ghost space. Clearing your reserved space and then uninstalling the game, hard reset the console, and then install. That should clear it. You'll want to make a note of what mods you have first though cause it'll wipe em'.

I just redid mine after the Creations update and will have a video on that in January. I added some cool things and switched up my textures for that next-gen look. But you can check out my last load order update to see how I last had it. I have a spreadsheet in the description on that as well but would recommend reading mod descriptions before you download things. Learning how to make a list makes changing it pretty easy. You can also search “How I Build My Load Order” on the channel or “Beginner Tips.” Not much is really exclusive to AE except for compatibility stuff. Some armor mods have Creation Club versions to cover some of the alternative armors but that’s about it.

Skyland AiO is probably the one I use the most since I started adding mods. It’ll cover landscapes, cities, mountains, caves, etc… There’s some more Skyland mods if you choose to add more but not necessary. Having a good SMIM, high poly project, and a weather mod should add a lot of great looks to your list. @@Matt_the_TechRanger I always check out your work, Im not a big space game guy & as we know Starfield needs work, lots and lots of work, Im a old Cat and I pick my games carefully I had 100 bucks in Xbox cards I saved from last Christmas waiting for Starfield to come out I mean I thought they made my favorite Skyrim however I figured I’d wait and see what the gaming chat was after release first, glad I did, I ended up buying Cyberpunk with the new DLC on sale $39.99 worth every dime, super fun, I figure in two three yrs Starfield will hopefully be ready to play….

@@travisholbert436 Cyberpunk 2077 is also great. Haven’t finished the new DLC but it was definitely my GOTY when it came out. Starfield is probably my GOTY this year. Skyrim in Space is a quick way to sum it up but it’s just waaay bigger. It does take a lot of things from Fallout 4 as well like the leveling system. After a playthrough and starting another, I feel like I haven’t even scratched the surface. I only did the main story and one faction storyline on the first.
