A huge tragedy is that people go through life without ever experiencing any hardship and tragedy that brings them down low to where they realize they need God's help. I have experienced many terrible tragedies even when I was 14 years old. Our house burned down to the ground and my mother grandmother my brother and myself would have been burned alive quickly, but my mother back in the 1960s decided to take our cloths that she washed to the new laundrromat. She had never had that experience. She never did because like many people back then she hung the cloths on an outside cloths hanger line. My mother woke up my brother and I who were home sick and told us to get grandma because we are all going to the launfromat. When we came back the house was almost burnt to the ground (It did burn all the way down a little later.). Thank God he saved us all that day. It is those tragedies that we should realize that God is merciful and we need Him. Without those times of trafedy some will never wake up and turn to God.

I did this, I said I can do anything. I was so full of myself it was disgusting, God took away just about everything, and I realized the mistake I made, and got on my knees weeping and crying out to God. I had to go through a period of repentance, and soon the Mighty and Merciful Lord God, brought me up and restored me much better than I could ever imagine, I learned to become closer and closer to God. When you move closer to our Mighty Father, he moves closer to you.

There is a blessing for me behind the attack on bishop, because by this incident I know him, bishop mar mari Emannuel, so I directly listen to his excellent preach. I live in Surabaya Indonesia. So at least I know about Asyrian orthodox Church. Thank you Lord Jesus. Bishop preaches enrich my knowledge about My Saviour. Thank you so much.
