I absolutely agree with you. Tamu-Sans versatility from Metal to Jazz is (IMO) is what sets her apart from the popular drummers. This women can play literally anything on the drums. Love her not death (figuratively).

It looks like Tamu is bringing her cymbals, but using the drums available in the studio. The bass drum and small toms are Ludwig. One of the floor toms looks like a Sonor. Some of the hardware looks like Pearl. In the past, I've seen her play on DW, and Pearl, as well as her own Tama kits. Regardless of whatever she uses, she's always phenomenal!

@@michelm.6033 Hi Mike! I would hope there wouldn't be any problems. At different times, Buddy Rich endorsed Rogers, Slingerland, Ludwig, and Pearl. Marina Bozzio endorses DW. Her Dad, Terry Bozzio works for DW. But, I've seen her play on other kits as well, as she did at her NAMM concert. A lot of times, as a drummer, when you walk into a studio, you use what's there. Producers just want you to walk in and play. It takes time to set up and align drums and hardware, tune them for room requirements, adjust microphones, perform sound checks along with the audio engineer. A good portion of studios have their own percussion equipment. Time is money. A lot of the time, I'd walk into the session; the kit would already be set up and miced. Other than drumsticks, I rarely used my own equipment. I'm trying real hard to get Tamu, Saki, Hazuki, Mayu, and Haraguchi-San to perform in San Antonio.
