This EP is absolutely phenomenal, which is not completely a surprise considering the four musicians involved. You should really react to the two other tracks (Orthrus and Cyclopes) which are (for me) more EPIC than this one. I truly hope there will be more tracks like these ones from this band in the future. Enjoy!

Where ever there's a band that's too over the top with talent, no matter how steep the musicianship level is, even with the most difficult level of rock, you will find our hero, undaunted by it all, Tamu the Hero we never knew we needed, and truly love.

Great song and reaction. Of course Tamu is on fire with everything she performs. Great band and I have the CD on order. (As if there was any doubt when it comes to Tamu-San). Sorry, I did not mean to focus on the drums. Excellent song.

The band name is Nakayoshi Metal (it's a self-titled EP) and the trackname is Cerberus. They recently released an EP (3 tracks digital, 4 tracks on CD + versions without guitar and without drums for the first 3 tracks, 10 tracks total). I don't listen to the versions without specific instruments a lot, but the whole EP is actual pretty good. The main brain behind it is Daisuke Kurosawa, who apparently worked for a video game company in the past and plays mainly progressive metal. Daisuke, Tamu and the bass and keyboard player (who are husband and wife and also have a project with the 2 of them) are friends and have been performing live together a couple of time in the past including more jazzy stuff. All of them are also Dream Theater fans, and they sometimes perform DT live on youtube (sometimes with an other drummer than Tamu). I highly recommend checking out Daisuke Kurosawa's channel as well for people interested in progressive metal he is really talented and has a lot going on. Btw, Daisuke Kurosawa is not Tamu's husband even though her husband (Akira Yamaoka) is also a video game producer (The Silent Hill video games for example). Not sure, but she might know Daisuke Kurosawa because of him. I am pretty sure they are also pushing it on Tamu's yt channel and social media because she has even more reach than Daisuke Kurosawa has (+- 65k subs, which is not too bad but not what Tamu has). The keyboard player (Yoshiko Ikejiri) has also performed with female guitar player Rie a.k.a. Suzaku who you recently saw with Muses together with Juna Serita. They have a different keyboard player in that band, but Rie has solo albums as well which she uses a lot of different musicians for including Yoshiko Ikejiri.

Yeah I looked up "Cerebus" on Spotify and it was not what I expected 😂

@@zelbinian I pre-ordered the physical CD when Tamu posted one of the playthroughs on her channel, so I was sure it was the other way around. But to be fair to both Ryan and the requester, the title of Daisukre Kurosawa's video makes it seem like the band is called Cerberus featuring Sakura Yoshida. I would have checked for Cerberus as bandname as well if I didn't know that was the tracktitle. It might be a comon way for Japanese people to put it like that, I'm not sure. Hopefully anyone who is willing to check it out can find it, it's really worth checking out imo.

Thanks for the information. My knowledge is starting to piece together. I found all these videos through Tamu’s channel. I did not know Daisuke Kurosawa worked for Konami gaming company. That is the same company Tamu’s husband worked at for many years. I believe he’s back there. Diasuke’s wiki stated he went on to work for another newer music company called Inspion. That is undoubtedly why Tamu has the Inspion video on her channel and performed in the US years ago for Inspion. I need to go back and watch that performance now. The video posted was a drum solo somewhere in the MidWest, perhaps Kansas City. Thanks for connecting the dots.

@@michelm.6033 I am not possitive, but I believe Inspion is a company Daisuke Kurosawa started himself. The 4th track on the NAKAYOSHI METAL EP (CD only) is also called Inspion, so Tamu certainly played on that one. But it appears that it's also a tracktitle on his solo album called Black Album 2 from 2018, so it might be a re-recording but I don't own that one to check. It's possible that he used Tamu in the past on his projects so possibly on that track as well, they seem to know each other pretty well.
