Imagine the person who u trusted is the reason of ur sister's and her husband's death. U hated him to core that u killed him with ur own hands and still hating him but then u knew that u're the reason for all this caz if he didn't give up his golden core he wouldn't need to learn crafty tricks and become yiling laozu. After hating him these many years u finally knew that u are the main cause for this present situation how hard will it be to digest the fact. But I'm on jc's side.he don't know the fact that wwx gave up golden core for him. After his parents death they are supposed to rely on eachother. But wwx's sudden change disappointed him and while night hunt people talking ill about him he still was on wwx's side. When wwx protected wen people he even tried to kill wen Ning just to protect wwx. He was on wwx's side even when wen Ning killed jixuan. Until never night war when his sister was stabbed he couldn't take it anymore. And also when he saw wwx's face after 16 years in the inn he felt happy for seeing his face again.

How can jc be on wwx’s side? He didnt like the wens. He hated the fact that wwx went through so much to protect the wens. He was tolerating wwx not being on his side probably for jyl sake too. The more things happened, the deeper he hated him. He couldn’t even accept that jiang yan li died bcos she wanted to protect wwx. He was too deep in hate and grief to think rationally. After wwx died, He spent years torturing people & capturing people who were rumored to practice demonic cultivation bcos he wants to capture wwx in case he came back. If JC was actually on wwx side, he would’ve helped him protect the wen clans. He would’ve stood up for him instead of pushing wwx to the edge. But JC never understood wwx and why he did what he did. Instead, he hated him for it.

But Wei Ying never told JC his hardships.., and after finding that Wei Ying is not involved in his family's death and finding that he is innocent, he just enraged on JGY. But they gave only a few moments of JC and WY in the end when JC knew the truth. They didn't even talk. That stabs me right in the heart. JC isn't good but he also disappointed when WY got hurt and in the beginning, when Jingyi says that JC killed WY, he got upset. Because of JGY, everything went upside down., he's such a villain. But we even can't blame JGY as he has his own hardships. The one that is supposed to be blamed is Jin Guangshan. He's such a selfish one. Anyways, because of all this mess, JC and WY's brotherhood was destroyed...., what's the point in blaming anyone??
