Interesting how after Dean and Jess had to endure Emily and Richard claiming they weren't good enough for Rory that Rory had to endure that with Logan. Full circle moment that made me really happy. It was about time Rory understood how less privileged people felt.

I always loved her with Logan, feel she was her best self with him. He actually cared for her, you can tell the moment he met her outside her dorm he was intrigued and knew he wanted to know her in some way. Their banter was hilarious before they started dating properly

If you want to get technical it was before that when she was getting a coffee with her friend Marty and they bumped into Logan and his friends and he was rude to Marty, he then met Rory again outside her dorm

Don't get me wrong, Lorelei is a good mother, but as Rory got older, her advice to Rory got worse. Her whole character was against the rich life, and her advice was based on the thought that she didn't want Rory to the life she could have had, had she not gotten pregnant at 16. Although she didn't want Rory to have the life her parents wanted for her, Rory was put into a private prep school, she attended Yale, etc. Rory spent her teenage and early adult life surrounded by those people. It was unfair to Lorelei to be so judgemental when it came to that lifestyle, as she was the one that pushed Rory into it. She always didn't like Logan, and I think that factored into Rory's decision. Even though she was still young, it didn't hurt her to get engaged to a man she loved and loved her back, is financially stable, etc. Logan loved and respected her, he just wanted Rory to promise to leave him. There also wasn't a specific reason she NEEDED to stay, she didn't have a job or anything. Instead, they could have got engaged for a few years and explored adulthood/the real world together, taken it slow, then get married. Logan knowing Rory, he would have definitely done that for her. I know marriage and engagements are a decision, and according to Rory, the proposal sprung out of nowhere. Still, if you think about it, they dated for two years, and they were pretty serious. When you have a serious relationship for a few years and are an adult, it's inevitable that at least one person would want to get married. I think Logan should have made it clearer he wanted to get married before proposing, and Rory should have been more obvious in their relationship, saying she didn't want to get married young. Logan and Rory grew together. Logan supported and fought for Rory. He pushed her to take risks, live life rather than watch others live, fight for what she deserves, take adventures, etc. Rory showed him how to love, care, show compassion, and more. They both showed each other a new perspective on life. The show built their relationship up so high and ended it horribly. Yes, Emily and Richard were a pain in the butt, however, in their defence, they just wanted what was best for their daughter. I believe they had OVERALL good intentions that were just not executed well. They grew up privileged, with no financial problems, and without having to worry at all for practically anything. Although Lorelei was happy with her hardworking middle-class life, Emily and Richard just wanted their daughter to have the same privilege as them as well as find happiness. If Lorelei didn't want any interference from them in her personal life, she should have cut them off more, rather than having Friday night dinners all the time where they constantly picked her apart. I know she did the dinners for money, and Rory wouldn't have gone to school without it, but she was the one that applied Rory to Chilton, knowing that she couldn't afford the tuition. Later on, knowing what happened in the past she shouldn't have kept making deals with her parents. She knew what was going to happen and did it anyways and always blamed them. Sometimes when you borrow money, there are no conditions because the person is generous and trusting enough to not make any, however, you are still borrowing someone else's money, so if they do make conditions, family or not, you cannot blame them. You are asking for an act of service, and a lot of the time, people want something in return. I'm sure if the money Lorelei needed was an emergency, Emily and Richard would have given it to her in a heartbeat with no strings attached, but the money she needed wasn't. I think Emily and Richard trying to control Lorelei's life when she is a successful grown woman is ridiculous, but advising her and telling her what they think is right or wrong, good or bad, is not wrong for them to do as parents. Regarding the criticism Lorelei gets from her parents at this point, she is basically asking for it as she continuously comes around them, knowing what they are probably going to say. Ultimately, I didn't enjoy the fact that Rory was so naive, that Lorelei was so annoying and biased with her opinions, affecting her daughter a lot, and Richard and Emily so controlling.

Agreed, Lorelei wanted to have her cake and eat it too. She liked the idea of being an independent woman but that didn't stretch as far as being ok with her daughter going to a normal high school or a normal college - nope, she wanted Rory to go to prep school and then attend an Ivy, and somehow magically not be influenced by the culture there in any way because she should just "know" that she's "better" than those kids. It was an interesting tension on Lorelei's character but it did make her very annoying at times. Life comes with trade-offs, as an adult she should know this. Family money comes with strings attached. An elite education comes with strings attached. Having spent time in that world herself, she should have known this, but she was so convinced that she and Rory were special and different that it blinded her.

Of course we are in the middle of a pandemic, so I think it’s going to be left up to our own imaginations... if we are to decide that Rory went and told Logan she was having his child, and he left Odette. Rory and Logan raise their child together and ended up getting married and falling madly in love again. even more than they ever were...😉

I have watched the revival numerous times. I have watched for clues to who Rorys baby daddy is..I noticed her drinking habits. She had 2 strong drinks with Jess. She had wine with Logan and his friends. Then after her mom and Luke got married her and her mom were sitting on the steps and her mom was drinking wine and even poured more but Rory was not drinking. So that tells me its Logans. Please do a revival 2 and let it end with Rory and Logan getting married. It doesn't need to end like her mothers life with her marring Jess. Logan and Rory love each other and have for many years. They belong together. Make it a happy ending. With Logan,Rory, and there child being a family..

I’ve always been team Jess when the show was going but now that I’m older and have rewatched the show in bits and pieces I can’t truly decide if I want Rory to end up with Jess or with Logan but in truth Rory has been with Logan the longest and their relationship just works and fits together more perfectly when they are two completely different people with traits that the other needs making them go together like yin and yang. Whereas Rory and Jess are very much alike in their personality and likes...their relationship would be very comfortable and easy going. Where they would have a very simple life together. Almost the same as Loralai and Luke does. But whereas her relationship with Logan it would be much bigger and much more of an adventure for Rory in which it would be one great love story that made her always reach for more instead of settle. Reach for the stars kind of relationship in which Logan would never allow for Rory to just be but open the world for her and give her everything she deserves and more. So in the end I believe Rory should end up with Logan and let herself have the adventure of her life because no matter what they could never stay apart from each other which also shows just how much they both love each other. Rory needed the time to just be alone and grow into the woman she is now but now that she is pregnant and had the time to know what she wants out of life for herself which very much includes Logan but she just can’t say it because Logan is engaged to someone else, she needs to be the one to take that leap and ask this time. Rory deserves to have an ending that is different from Loralai’s because they are two different people who wants two different things from life. Loralai was always uncomfortable with the rich lifestyle and wanted the easy small town life whereas Rory always felt at home and for right in with the rich lifestyle from the very beginning. So in the end I have changed to being team Logan.

Facts . Jess is the one. In my opinion. Logan is bossy and unorganized while Jess is unpredictable but he was sweet n fun .. he was just confused and trying to be a rebel when they met. Unlike Logan who even when he was older he didn't mature in my opinion.
