Learn how to use the word LO in Spanish. The neuter article LO can be a pain in the neck for many students of the Spanish grammar, but in this lesson you will learn its different uses with a lot of examples both in Spanish and English. This is the second episode of a new series of videos on my channel called "Vamos al Grano" which means let’s get to the point! The answer is that just like in English some words can have different meanings depending on how you use them. In this case extraño can be a noun that means strange, but it can also be the first person conjugation in the indicative of the verb extrañar which means to miss someone :) I hope it is clear now :)

Thanks for this. I feel like I need to practice it, but don't really know how. When I write in Spanish and check my work, they sometimes insert "lo que" and I never know why.

Cindy S this lesson is a very good explanation .The way I learned was to totally give up looking at grammar tables and just take in as many example sentences as possible using the words I wanted to learn.Worked for me .Eventually it just ‘feels ‘ right .
