Pick your poison lol It's a shame Zhi speaks Japanese and has lived amongst the best in the world. He could give us some insight and some good stories about these top players. Instead, he choses to be immature and say stupid stuff all the time.

That match is so sloppy. I guess both players were affected by jet lag and whatnot.
@diddykv9 жыл бұрын
Axemarloe Yep. Top 8 had Daigo, Infiltration and Xian (Evo champions), and players like Poongko and Bonchan not even making to the top 16, but playing sloppy will get you there. Seriously, though: whiff punishes where crazy and there wasn't many combo drops, so I don't understand why one of the best matches of the tournament would be called sloppy.
@helenzlazzli9 жыл бұрын
diddykv To be fair, there are good or intense moments in this set, like the ending and that one counterhit combo into ultra. However, the random DPs, (mainly from Momochi mind you, since Kazu doing random DPs are pretty common) that 3/4 screen super, weird EX RFAs, dropped Genei Jin, all those just shows how off point both players were. Imo the match is okay in its own right, but compared to Stunfest, where everybody was playing sharp and crisp, it's mediocre at best.
@diddykv9 жыл бұрын
Axemarloe It's not mediocre compared to Stunfest. Kazunoko was rockin' genei jin combos on Xian just before that match and Momochi beat Infiltration in one of the best sets of the tournament. Kazunoko vs. Momochi is always full of random DPs - always! They play each other a lot, and it's always crazy like that, because they don't wanna be predictable. I saw a lot of "Stunfest was better" comments, but it's like people assume Daigo or Momochi should win everything, and when they don't they "weren't playing their best", etc., but while it could be true, SEAM was a more stacked tournament and honestly Momochi just finally lost to Kaz in a very close set. Tokido then destroyed Kazunoko and Mago destroyed Tokido. Random things happen, but this set and the tournament as a whole were far from mediocre.

diddykv Some moments are pretty hype, I'll give ya that. And Infil v Momochi was solid. But there's just too many missed punishes, questionable choices, dropped combos, etc in this tourney. Also, when I'm saying that the players "weren't on point," I was not referring exclusively to Daigo or Momochi. Lots of people played sloppy in a lot of the matches, and that is a fact. Then again, everyone is entitle to their opinions. I just feel that SEAM is too messy to be ranked as a "great" tourney in my books. Stunfest, on the other hand, produced an abundance of quality matches, and is imo one of the best tourneys in 2015 by far.
@diddykv9 жыл бұрын
Axemarloe Well then let's hope CEO surpasses both of them, though I do think Stunfest GF is a tough one to beat, as I considerer it easily one of the best sets in USF4 to date.
