Also the bad break on the par 5 hole #4. Rory hits a beautiful 2nd shot that gets to within 20-30 ft of the hole. I'm really glad Bryson won... Mcllroy ball hits something on the putt on 18 it just shoots right. Great golf and Bryson is a great ambassador for golf. I saw a picture of him giving autographs at 10:00 at night.

*Former pro and The Golf Channel's on-course reporter Johnson Wagner attempted Bryson's sand shot on live TV last night as dusk was setting in - WITH BRYSON STANDING THERE IN THE TRAP WATCHING AND HOLDING THE TROPHY - and Wagner hit an incredible shot, closer than Bryson's, to one foot from the hole! In the celebration, Bryson handed him the trophy! It was pure golf delight! The PGA Tour needs DeChambeau back!*

The PGA tour needs to get its act together then. Useless organisation. Awful coverage littered with adverts even though we are literally paying already to watch. Boring golfers, draconian rules stuck in the 90s that don’t allow the golfers to be like Bryson. LIV is a huge reason why Bryson is the way he is now and the PGA fanboys need to show some humililty. All they’ve got at the moment is an off colour felon who really struggled with this course.

On his second attempt....first shot he flew over the green into the clubhouse

I think the putter shaft has an advantage. I can believe that if Bryson uses the same check as Rory. There's no way to defeat him.

I hit a beautiful pitching wedge yesterday. Drew it into 3ft from 145 yards. Played for the bounce and got it spot on. My smiles quickly evapourated as I hit a McIlroy putt. At least mines lipped out. Actually tbh it was more like Brysons second putt on 15. Golf has many a way to keep you grounded.

Man, Rory's putter was on fire in the front 9, when he went up by 2 I thought it was done. What a shootout!

Except Norman faced up to interviews, and was always gracious in victory or defeat. So was Dechambeau after the recent PGA as I recall. Am disappointed that Rory didn't. Apart from being a better look if he had, I wanted to hear his take on what happened! Hopefully when he simmers down a bit from his obvious disappointment, he may provide an interview.

@@aussierhino471 Dude you don't realise how much pain Rory had to deal with after 16 and 18, compared to dechambeau at Valhalla. it's not like you wouldn't be pissed off about those putts ...

Rory is officially cooked after this one man. I can only imagine how bad it stings for him. Especially after being so critical of all the LIV dudes. Honestly very happy with the result. Rory played very well but it’s always the same with him unfortunately.

I'm no Rory fan boy but the amount of negative comments is unreal. Most of the commenters on here wouldn't break 150 on that course from the tips. Most of the field finished over par! Pipe down. Congratulations Bryson, well deserved victory!

Ya it's unreal. Such miserable horrible golf "fans" out there. Those "fans" really are an embarrassment. No matter how you feel about Rory one way or the other to wish this on anyone shows zero class.

Bit of karma for McIlroy…. Tells his wife he wants a divorce, serves her the papers then when he finds out his pre nup isn’t as tight as he thought grovels back like nothing happened 😂 He should keep his driver in his pants and not think he’s gods gift to women!
