Usher is 43. My Way dropped when he was 18. He's been in the game since he was about 14 It's a joy to watch you fully appreciate his greatness. When you're as massive as Usher has been as an entertainer and a lot of what people like about you is how you perform, vocal prowess often gets lost. Usher is a prodigiously gifted vocalist, arguably the best of his generation.

He said "This is a gumbo going on here." Gumbo is a stew of shellfish and sausage, potatoes, corn on the cob, from Louisiana. Usher used it as a metaphor to say his band is a delicious mixture.

I LOVED your reaction to Usher's Tiny Desk. I was fully entertained watching your enjoyment of all the little intricacies of the performance. You are absolutely right about how good the band is and how great it is that he gave the background singers their shot at being in the spotlight. And lastly, just how cool and talented Usher is as a performer and just in general. I've watched this Tiny Desk several times and this is my favorite reaction.
