This song is actually growing on me, but you know what’s funny… I feel like this is something MJ would sing on. Maybe not this exact beat, but a beat with this overall tone and feel. Mike always wanted hard rap beats and Idk… I think MJ would think this song is cool. Thats really an interesting take. It's hard to hear MJ on something this hard. But I think with some modifications it could hit. Usher did great vocally here. I love that Pharrell brought in some strings on this beat. Wish he played with some different patterns and his classic chord progressions but it'll do the job. I'm just glad Usher and Pharrell have a record together.

But on his Blood On The Dance Floor album he’s got a song called Morphine that tonally feels similar to this. So I could hear MJ doing something cool with this record.
