Hi Atty....i want to ask you about my case, i've been planning to apply for a tourist visa and infact want to tell the truth with my reason why i want to avail this kind of visa, a tourist visa. It's because, i have a long time fiancee leaves in Guam, we've been together for almost two decades, why this long...., that we're having a set up like this, it's because i had taken care with my nephew and supposed to adopt him legally with my fiancee but unfortunately, my brother changed his mind so we cannot adopt his kid but we still continue to take care the child as he grows up with me and even called daddy to my fiancee, and this cause the delayed of petitioning me coz i can't leave the child till he reach the age of 13 and i am ready to leave him, but my fiance is getting ill , 3x already that we undergo with a major operation here at St.Lukes BGC TAGUIG,PHILIPPINES. I am the one who takes care of him everytime he is here in the Philippines. Last 2020 he was operated with colostomy and a supra pubic cathether,so there were two bags attached to his body that he will carry for 6 mos. He stayed with me for only one month then go home to Guam, alone in his house, experiencing with confusion, delirium, this thing is what im worried of coz he can't remember some issues we just discuss in the phone,and almost forget his eating schedule. My question is...if i apply for a tourist visa and tell the officer that my purpose is to take care of my 70 year old fiancee? I just want to take care of him at least before he will leave in this world. I want to do this because it's been a year that his colostomy is overdue and he always say i'll be there next month but as i observed he doesn't know how to do things anymore, as in he was in a state of great mental status changes, i pity on him, and covid is preventing him also to get a visa to enter here in the Philippines, as he is a U.S.citizen, it's hard for him to get a visa as per covid policy protocols, and the hospital there said they can't serve him for the procedure as its done here in thr Philippines. I know only me can take care of him, would the officer will allow me to enter in U.S.upon telling the truth with my purpose? I would be very thankful if they'll give me 3-6mos.at least i can take care of him for a while, then come back in my country.
