I’m in my easy chair and it’s cold here in Iowa . Really cold! But I’m having a great time with the old fisherman as he catches those perch. In a few weeks I’ll be going to my fishing spot. Until then, I’ll fish with Steve in my mind in his boat. Thanks for letting me ride along!

Old fisherman catching monster perch having a blast. I understand the feeling of not wanting to leave the fish while they still biting good. I've been there more than a few times which is why I got a LED head light for my cap when it gets dark so I can still fish. Fishing is very addictive my friend.

I have caught thousands of panfish on Gulp Alive 1 inch on either a 1/64 or 1/80 in the winter the last 10 years.

Hi Steve. Be careful out there. Mark and I have been sick with flu since Thanksgiving night. His temp is back to normal thank goodness. I still feel yucky. Coughing up stuff. Doctor would let me in office. Tested me for flu in parking lot then did a virtual call. They never tested my lungs. I think I'm still fighting pneumonia.

I'm from Missouri and I couldn't get a doctor's appointment so they tested me for the flu and covid in the parking lot and said I didn't have them but they called me in some antibiotics and I'm still coughing up stuff and my noise won't quit running, I'm thinking it might be that RSV virus that's putting the children in the hospital, I hope you two get to feeling better, I had to miss deer season because I was so weak at I'll be glad when I get rid of whatever this is.i keep watching all the commercials on his videos like you told me once, makes you feel like you're helping.

1/64 or one with a short shank with out a collar, # 6 hook in it.

I was able to find 1/64 with #6 sickle on e bay I think I'll try a dropper rig with 6lb flourcarbon leader to start.We fish mostly tidal creeks and rivers.What do you think and thanks so much for the help.

Hey Steve, going to give the Gulp Alive minnows a try. I think you said in one video you were using the watermelon color. Are you sticking with that mainly? Smelt and Watermelon is the 2 colors that I have used. They both seem to work. The small jig head is a must.
