ASA is my preferred filament for functional parts that will be used outside. It is similar to ABS but has better UV resistance. With either ABS or ASA, best practice is to pre-heat the chamber with the bed heater for 30+ minutes and allow the finished print to cool down to room temperature before opening the door and removing the printed part. This will give you better layer adhesion and stronger parts.

Any metal fittings used to mount stuff can easily be melted into place. Drill a size smaller than what you need and melt it in with a soldering iron. Works great!

i would use a higher heat resistance filament PLA is not great for outdoor use it's going to melt if left in the sun abs or carbon filament would be better

Hey, that’s not 3D-printed sorry, it’s a pressed metal sign my kids got me for Father’s Day a few years back.

Do you use any glue on your build plate?
@OzzieMotoVlogs6 ай бұрын
No glue used yet, using the textured plate at the moment.

You need to work on your sound levels. Your voice is way too low and the music way too loud.

Thanks for the feedback! It’s definitely something I struggle with and am constantly working on.

I do motorbikes and its better epa-CF than abs.... abs when gets hot it deforms.... and its not flexible.

Thanks for the info! ABS was all I had on me and this was mainly just a trial.
