Just got my X1C, and it's amazing. Especially when you replace the glue-stick mess plate with the Bambu textured PEI plate. This thing is so freaking fantastic, I want a second one, both with AMS. The quality is so much better than my 5 other printers, and it's so painless. No regrets. Wish I bought it earlier. I'm not f-ing with it AT ALL. It's Perfect. If you want painless printing without a hobby tinkering project, get the X1C.

@@pedshred Compared with what, having time to waste tinkering with things and troubleshooting failed prints that wasted hours? I would agree I prefer not wasting time. Not saying you have to get one, but I do think you would like it. Auto bed-leveling, auto z-offset, auto pressure-advance, AI fail detection, remote 1080p webcam monitoring and timelapse captures, wifi support without octoprint. It covers a lot of hassles. Think how many more high-value comments you could post on youtube. You could be super helpful criticizing other people for things you're jealous about, instead of maybe fixing your own life.

Gosh I've spent a ton of money trying to "upgrade" my cr10 and enders to get them printing reliably and with good quality. Probably more at this point than a p1p. I wish the p1p was out back then. Worth spending more for a Piece of mind. No tinkering and more printing. Parts cost aside think about all of the labor in terms of cost wasted on those crap printers. Bambulabs p1p, x1c, or bed slingers are the way to go. I also want a second x1c

Nice to know there's a out of the box solution coming for the LEDs. It's by far the biggest shortcoming of the X1C. I just did a small riser yesterday with Cobb LEDs and TPU gasket for the glass. By far my favorite the most worthwhile update to this printer. For those concerned about rattling, this thing's super snug and with the tpu gasket there is zero play.

The big advantage of the X1C over the P1S, other than the touch screen, is LIDAR and the higher speed, higher resolution camera. IF you are doing engineering parts, the LiDAR and calibrated flow control make a significant difference. However, for the average home user, entthusiasts or maker, you will notice little difference between the P1S and the X1C. PErsonally, I am not doing super accurate engineering printing, so I am seriously looking at the P1S to replace my aging Ender 5. The Ender 5 has been good, but I have the choice, Bambu Lab that just works, or spend almost the same money on upgrades on the Ender 5 that may or may not work. For me, it's a no brainer as I am past upgrading for the sake of upgrading. I am now at the stage where I want things to work.

@6:52 not everyone is comfortable with electronics, wiring soldering and programming. It appears that Levi has not setup an xTouch before. There is no wiring, no soldering and no programming involved in the 5 minute process of letting the tool flash your screen and entering WiFi credentials into a JSON file. The interface isn't perfect but none of this is requires. Print and screw together an enclosure (actually this is optional) and plug in a USB cable to the hidden port in the printer. Teaching tech has a great video and a nice enclosure.

Although you don’t really have any issues with cooling on the X1 it always seemed odd to me that Bambu labs directed the part cooling duct a bit high and it points some what at the side of the silicon sock. That’s something the Voron guys tried to avoid with their stealthburner because they found that it’s actually not great airflow to have the duct pointing at the heater block despite it being common practice.

The options on the BTT site are kind of misleading. Do we need just the panda revo hotend or the "conversion kit" as well? Side note, given the fact you can use your phone or tablet with Bambu Handy, is there really any benefit of the touch screen?
@boogle5511 ай бұрын
For the LED strips I've heard Bambu only rate the 2-pin port for 300mA. The strips are all well over 1A, so I wouldn't use one of those, personally. The ones connected to the USB port are probably OK. Somewhat related, I have a riser on my P1S and have no additional rattles with the AMS mounted on top.

One thing that might be worth making a video of would be upgrades especially of the 3d printing kind for the Bambu Lab A1 Mini, I know personally I've tried the Ultimate Filament Spool Enclosure 封箱 for AMS Lite to try and have PETG work and have been curious but as a new user a bit cautious about the idea of printing stuff like the A1 Mini All-in-One Organizer. The "Panda" hotend is something I've been waiting for - it seemed like such an obvious collaboration, and adds some diversity to the Bambu parts chain. But it's too expensive for me, at least for now. The real value is in the cold-swap for nozzles, and I find I just don't change nozzles often enough. Granted I'd probably do it more if it was a little easier, but right now, that cost is out of my reach. Heck, I'm about to run out of filament and can't even afford to buy more of that! Still, that's a "me problem" and I'm glad to see this new option in the market. Hopefully it performs well and sticks around.

@ubiratamuniz11 ай бұрын
I may consider myself quite a fanboy of the Revo ecossystem, even though the nozzles are quite expensive and the risk of bending them accidentally do exist (I have lost quite a few nozzles, specially when setting up my printers after rebuilding them). To be honest, I believe I´m the only one in Brazil using them for now (at least I haven´t seen any Brazilian videos about the Revo ecossystem and the only reason I haven´t done one myself is because I haven´t had the time or willpower to do it - I´m focusing on concluding my personal 3D printing projects, for now it´s the honeycomb wall - by your recommendation BTW... it´s getting awesome! first section is already concluded). Currently I´m using a Revo Six (12V core) on one of my rebuilt printers, and a Biqu H2S Revo (24V core) on the rebuilt Anycubic Mega X. I find it awesome that there´s a Revo option for the Bambulabs printers (although I think it´s unnecessary for the A1 series as it has its own quick swap system) but for me, personally, what matters the most (as I don´t have a Bambulabs printer and I don´t plan on buying one for now) is that Bigtreetech will now offer the high flow nozzles on their shop (which I can actually use on my current Revo printers). You see, for me it´s easier to source them from Chinese authorized resellers than directly from E3D in UK, mainly because of incompetence from Brazilian customs (they returned about 50% of my packages from E3D). I have to say that with all the bureaucratic difficulty that makes me rather stubborn on using Revo LOL. Maybe they will also carry replacement parts as well, such as heater cores and also Obxidian nozzles, which currently I can source only from E3D directly (which leads to looong delays due to Brazilian customs incompetence as mentioned) or from USA (with extorsive shipping rates). Currently the only available nozzles from Bigtreetech were the standard ones, hopefully they will also sell stand alone Obxidian and high flow nozzles as well now. Ordering them from BTT instead of directly from E3D will make things rather easier.

RE: Upgrading the chamber fan to a Noctua - IIRC the main reason they run quieter in this specific use case is because they run at half the intended RPM due to the voltage difference. Basically just capping the max speed of the fan in hardware + money + effort. Better to just modify the filament profile to slow the fan down (it's in the gcode - and I think Bambu has already done this for their profiles in a recent update).

The speed difference in RPM might be true. But Noctua _does also_ have great silence per unit of air moved due to good engineering.

It chopped some price off the MSRP and I’m fine with that. I never need the screen except to bump the speed or stop. If you’re putting everything on SD cards.. possibly if you don’t name your files well enough and you forget what you put in the card. But the screen is fine for what it is. Yes if someone in the 3D printing world who’s had 30+ printers and has seen the world of screens, then yes. It’s like a Ferrari Owner complaining about a Honda Civic. Not sure if you're watching for replies, but I've been in this since 2015. I got an X1C just as they were coming out of Kickstarter and it easily blew away printers in the $3K range at that point. There's more competition now, but they're still the "go to" for a plug and play. The P1P is the cheaper option if you're up to doing some addons yourself, and there's a LOT of free or cheap ones that make it rival the X1C. The X1C if you're planning on doing high temp "engineering" type filaments like ABS and Polycarbonate for things like 'no' melt car accessories or heat exposed items. Otherwise, for "general" use, get the P1P and the Big Tree Tech Panda Touch screen for a plug and go setup. The AMS is A-MAZ-ING! Even without doing multicolor prints having 4 rolls ready to go instantly is a complete game changer! It's truly a "must have". Cheers!

Do you know if the p1p is going to receive the motor noise cancelling update?

Hey, Has anyone tested the Power of the used led Strip? I read that the main board can only deliver 0.3 Ampere?

Thanks for pointing out these upgrades! I’m interested in the hotend/nozzles. So am I understanding this correctly that with the Panda hotend, I’d be able to swap with any REVO nozzle? The Panda hotend comes with a brass nozzle and I’d definitely want a hardened steel or something similar/better.

So, how does the P1s handle the slightly different z offset of a revo nozzle compared to stock? Do you have to adjust it?
@looxonline11 ай бұрын
We designed it so that the total length is identical.

@@looxonline that was what was said about the Revo for my prusa but I still had to change my z offsets significantly...

Ordered a p1p from them 3 weeks ago. They said it would ship early January. So Bambu is a month behind on orders.

Love your videos; I just ordered the Panda Touch, should ship in March. I hope for peace between Israel and Palestine, and I hope you get home soon.
@OfficialZeniFlow2 ай бұрын
sadly there will be no peace between those two until Muslims put their guns down... and they wont, so Israel needs to make Muslims to put the guns down. If Israel did that, there would be no Israel

I saw you used Blender to make a trashcan in one of your videos. I made something in blender way before I thought about getting a 3d printer. I just bought a used one of fb marketplace and want to turn my blender project into a real life item. Is it possible for you take make a video how to create something in blender and then 3d print it? Im new to blender and never 3d printed before im sure itll not be fun lol.

@thenextlayer is Ventilation an issue or is the carbon filter enough?

The carbon filter only masks the scent, you must ventilate it properly especially with ABS and ASA@@greglogan4443

@@greglogan4443He has a video on air quality. Short version: not enough, but neither is any other "stick it in the enclosure" filter, if you actually care about the air quality in your working space. It does help though.

Just to update. I ran some esun abs+ with no issues on my p1s. Used the profile from the esun website. Stinks a bit, but kept the room door closed and opened the window when the print was finished. Would NOT be in the room at the same time/during
