How long will y'all be there? It's hurricane season, NC has been hit hard the last few years. They say this will be an above average year for hurricanes. I just want to know if y'all are safe if something starts brewing. The wind turbine is a good idea on the beach, especially at night. Do you have to pay your own electricity there? Most are covered in the monthly fee, some up to a certain amount and some not at all. I hope you like the job! ~Donna

We are here for 3 months in hopes of seeing some sea turtles hatch. If anything was to happen with any storms they have shelter for us or we will just evacuate. Let's hope for no hurricanes this year. Haha. The electric is included but I try to just use what can be produced with the solar and wind. On the hot days and when I do laundry I plug in to there power. So far the job is working out and I'm having a blast. 😀
