That is an awesomely beautiful video. I struggle to wash my back & I have 2 arms so that wall mounted back scrubber is a brilliant idea. I’m amazed they aren’t just sold in the shops already. It was a pleasure watching your video. Hello from Queensland Australia 🇦🇺

Thank you so much for posting this video! I'm getting that back scrubber ASAP! I have fibromyalgia and sometimes my arms are so fatigued, I can hardly scrub my back. I have a brush, which is a great tool to have; but when I'm fatigued, my grip is weak, making the brush useless.

Great video, Jessica. Thanks for sharing. I did have some concerns seeing that dressing hook right behind you as you demonstrated using the sink. It occurred to me that if you lost your balance, that could be a real hazard where it is located if you fell. I am sure you have amazing balance and dexterity so probably not an issue - just the mom in me worrying about you. LOL xox

Everything could be a hazard if Jessica lost her balance but I did have the same thought as you when I saw the hooks.

Hi, I’ve been trying to figure out how to teach my son to properly help him wipe. He was born with bilateral Amelia of upper extremities ( no arms) and I loved the hooks and I’m still trying to figure out how to teach him to wipe. Any tips would help a lot. I worry every day about this.

Thank you soooo much been looking for information like this for years for my adult daughter who has unreachable very short arms a type of dwarfism. I try buying so many things that doesn't work I have to wash and dress her every day. She gets very depressed when it comes to selfcare and bathroom routine. No help from professional people other than negative impute that u have to keep on trying. I find it stupid to practice on something that doesn't work. Along with severe respirator issue and the stress makes her breathing worse from not knowing what to do and fail OT knowlege. I was so amaze with the hook the ideal has been floating around my head for a while, but the 3 M stick on from the grocery store never work so I need a bigger one.

She stated that she uses a bidet, but don't you still have to wipe or just leave your bottom wet. I know this is personal, but a person can't help but wonder.

I just found your channel yesterday. Your video is informative and very helpful to us! I live in a developing country. 5 years ago, my little girl was playing badminton with her classmates after school. A badminton fell on the transformer. She ignorantly climbed up the transformer to pick up the badminton. Unfortunately, her arms were severely burned, her right arm fell off, and her left arm was later amputated. At first it felt like it was the end of the world. She couldn't take care of myself at all. It was very difficult even to get up in the morning. Now five years have passed and she is almost 12 years old. Now she can get dressed, eat and go to the toilet all by herself. But recently I found my girl has severe scoliosis and pelvic side tilt, and the entire spine and hips have a severe left tilt. Later we went to check: the lumbar vertebrae 34/45/51 were herniated, the cervical vertebrae 34/45 were herniated, the knee meniscus was damaged, the patella was softened, and the ankle joint had a relatively serious varus. As the child slowly enters puberty, I am really worried that she will become more and more crooked as her body develops, and eventually become a deformed person with a crooked spine and crooked buttocks. I would like to ask Jessica if there are any good ways to prevent or improve the distortion of the pelvis and spine?
