Using a brayer and emboss resist technique

Using a brayer to create a blended background with splats, over a stampe heat embossed image to give a resist effect. Used Lavinia Elements inks, All and Create stamp, gold Metallic Gilding Polish from Creative Expressions

Jon, the bubbles on your,plate are,caused by the plastic pieces, you are storing your plate with. Apparently, those plastic sheets are to be discarded. Your card is absolutely beautiful and is a classy birthday card for your friend. Glad to Jane come across you. You’ve got a new subbie.

Hi, I randomly came across your channel and your card is beautiful. Just wondering why you did not rub over your stamped image and sentiment to remove any ink on top from the blending? Is there a particular reason for this? Just curious in case I have missed something. Also liked and subscribed

I love this card. How do you avoid melting the original embossing when you use the heat tool for general drying?

Hi there. I’ve never had a problem to be honest. I always clear emboss any main ink stamping I do which is especially helpful if you are colouring. But on this card I just clear embossed to create a resist. I usually use low heat to dry so maybe that avoids it?
