and today the gang learned about "Shift Register Controller Input" Design. Basically all old Nintendo Controllers are just a bunch of buttons hooked up to a special chip called a shift register and it sends the state of each of the buttons to the game. These buttons can be connected to physical controller scheme. So you have game boy games that work with dance pads as a result.
