Nice tutorial again! I have practiced guide mode ascension on steeper ground and what I did was keep the prussik above the belay device, almost at my max reach, clip a crab to it and run the dead rope through it. It operated as a pully system, pulling down on the dead rope lifted me up, but it was very very slow. However in an emergency, e.g. with an injury and limited tools it might be useful. I might try it with a foot prussik on the dead rope, but I think the standard double prussik accession that you demonstrated a couple of months ago is more efficient - still fun to play around with different setups.
