Very good instructions. I'm learning that repetition and practice is key to get quality. I see that by concentrating on one aspect of the design at a time allows for "muscle memory" when repeating the same gesture in the grid. I typically decorate with random organic carving, or slip with a brush, or stamp impressions. I do love repeating patterns though. Vines, floral, and geometric patterns are all wonderful if done well.
