Is this sentence grammatically correct? I think this is if clause type 3. So you should have used past perfect tense instead of past tense. Sorry, Im an English learner. But everybody uses different grammer rules. Such as some says I have seen, some says I seen.

@@LeoKBass yea that’s the point dude. If you live in an area where it gets cold enough to freeze your car, you should definitely prioritize using your garage as a garage over using it as a deposit. It’d make way more sense to just get a storage unit, sell the useless stuff, build a shed, or any number of other options that’d make their lives just so much more practical lol

Usually it's around the door latch area that the ice gets into the handle and doesn't allow the mechanism to release. Tapping with the hammer probably is what release the mechanism. I don't think the whole door being frozen would keep it that shut. It's the handle mechanism that was frozen. Next time just tap the handle mechanism with the butt of your hand a few times and see if that frees it up

Tip: of your hammer end is not rounded, you're less likely to do damage to your car with the side or top of your hammer, as long as you don't hit with a corner. A wider surface area makes less impact, so it's less likely to deny your car.

If you break away the ice at the top of the door on the corner where you can see the seal, you can put your fingers in there and pry the door open. Just make sure you remember to hold the door handle in the open position or you could bend your door. I live in Missouri. In the winter It doesn't always snow but it'll always rain and then freeze over.

He did unlock the door by pushing the little square keyless entry button on the driver's side door handle. Pressing the square button on the door handle once alerts the system to search for the presence of your key fob in it's immediate vicinity(usually within 3 feet) & unlocks the passenger side door when pressed twice. Using the keyless entry system saves you from having to fumble around for your fob & gives you the peace of mind of knowing you absolutely have your keys on your person.

@@oxord1111 i don't think it's that cold in here. It probably snowed last night hence the thin sheet of ice. If it was so cold (like -60 degree Celsius or less) then the ice on the car would have been pretty thick. Cold temperature snows are sometimes so bad they can form inches of ice pile over everything in just 1 night.

@Marcus no, just because you can afford a car doesn't mean you can afford studded tires. In America cars are a necessity to function in life and many people are just $1,000 away from financial ruin and potential homelessness. Take your condescending dumbass attitude elsewhere. It's great you live in a country that has it's shit together unlike America but you could at least be aware of the key differences. Poor in Sweden isn't the same as poor in America, and it's the fact that it's socialist that explains that.
