Wow girlll it came out stunning 😍 Natural talent👊🏼 I was a hair dresser and i did it myself one time, without the comb; freestyle balayage and backcombing the hair to get a nice blend. I have a lot of thick hair and my arms are killing me😂 The last time i went to the salon and payed €200 for a cut and balayage & toner 😅 It turned out far to blond and my curls died in that moment. So now i’m scared and after watching you nailing this, i might give it a try with that special comb🤞🏼 I must use a toner, caramel color Loreal professional Diariches, because i have a lot of red pigment and it gives back shine to my hair. About the purple shampoo or how we Dutchies call it, Silvershampoo: Blue shampoo is best for removing orange tones and purple shampoo for jellow tones. Thank you for sharing🌻

lol yea I've tried the back comb technique before but it's so much strain on your arms when doing it on yourself that it just wasn't worth it to me! The comb is just too quick and easy!! Great tip about the blue shampoo!! I wasn't sure about the difference! 💕💕

So im gonna try this on my own because of being quarentined...ive never done this before...you mentioned toner...whats the purpose and if i dont so it does it make a differemce?
@DeanndraNunnery4 жыл бұрын
Lol now is the perfect time to diy!! It makes a difference depending on your bleach results. For me, it has never made so much a difference that I feel it is necessary. I try to avoid further damage so I choose to just use the Eva NYC purple conditioner and a purple shampoo. If your hair turns out to be really orange with the bleach and the purple isn't helping combat that, you can use a toner to try to remove some of the orange undertones. Or if you want a more ashy color, the toner will also help you achieve that. The toner will be a more permanent result as far as the undertone of your hair. But i do like to do a weekly deep condition with the eva NYC conditioner and I find that it's the same as a toner and keeps my hair soft and healthy. It really is a personal preference though! Hope that helps! 💞

Deanndra Nunnery only thing is my hair is like dark I’m not sure what kind to get I think I need it lighter to achieve honey color??! My hair is blackish dark brown
@DeanndraNunnery5 жыл бұрын
No my hair was dyed a dark brown almost black like 2 months before I did this. My natural color is closer to black and this kit has always given me honey results. Just make sure to wrap it in foils or the plastic cap that come with the kit so the bleach doesn’t dry. If you want it to lift more after the 30 min you can add a little heat with a blow dryer with the foils/plastic still on and it might lift more. But I think you’ll be fine with this one.

I would recommend to use this olaplex treatment for dry hair after bleach. (Oil doesn’t actually help repair damage) amzn.to/2XkXYzr Also, I didn’t use a toner with this kit, these are my results with the bleach alone. I do have a video on how I upkeep the tone and health of my hair without using anything damaging. if you’d like to see that video kzbin.info/www/bejne/kJe8haemr8mLjck The general rule for toner is purple for yellow bleach results and blue for orange bleach results. Lol yea I couldn’t justify that price!! Especially since I’ve realized it’s so easy to do it at home on myself! Girl I’m telling y’all it’s this kit! It’s seriously magic in a box!! FOR ANYONE WHO DOESN’T WANT TO USE a BOX DYE: I would recommend 10 or 20 volume developer with Balayage Lightener powder. The powder for these specific lighteners for balayage will ideally create lightened AND caramel highlights that way you don’t massively over bleach your hair and it all turns out orange. Research this for more info on why there are balayage lighteners specifically for this type of hair painting. Also, look into why clay lighteners is better than powder... it’s amazing to learn that Clay doesn’t swell as bleach powder and that is usually why people mess up their hair when they DIY balyage if the bleach lightener swells when you are hair painting and it’s in your hair too long and it bleeds in the other parts of your hair if you didn’t properly foil it.

Wow!!! It looks great!!! Salon BEAUTIFUL! Not orange or red! I have the similar hair color and my biggest problem is always getting reddish orange tones, but I like your results and the fact that you don't have to tone and over process!!! THANK YOU so much for sharing. Plz make a video when you go lighter!🙏💜❤🌸🌷
@DeanndraNunnery4 жыл бұрын
Thank you!! I definitely will be making another video soon. Not sure if I’m going lighter but it will probably look that way since I’m probably going to use the same technique. It will end up adding more highlights through the bottom.

Omg WHO IS GOING TO TRY THIS? I just bought this kit and brush because your hair came out so beautiful. I love to DIY but diy on my hair has never came out good lol. One time I went blonde yellow ewww lol so I haven’t done it in years but your video gave me confidence. Let’s pray it comes out half descent haha. I think I’ll make a video 🎞 and upload if it comes out good. Definitely trying this technique. THANK YOU 🙏🏻 ❤️❤️

Btw did you use just one box and do you have thick hair or thin? Wondering if one box will do the trick. My hair is up to my lower boob area...
@DeanndraNunnery4 жыл бұрын
Haha YOU'RE WELCOME! It's taken years and years of practice but mostly just patience while you're doing it. The comb has definitely been the easiest method for this honestly. Also yes my hair is pretty thick. I just used one box and had some left over.

I am OBSESSED with your videos and you inspired me to buy the revlon frost and glow kit, im going to try and do it this weekend and I hope it turns out half as decent as yours lol!!! Im using the cap however. Wish me luck you DIY hair dying goddess!!

Thank you!! so glad I could inspire you! haha I love this kit and alwaysss love my results! good luck babe but with this kit you're in good hands. I love using the cap tbh. It takes a little longer but it's definitely fool proof! have you seen my cap video? It was the first one I did with this kit and I did a sort of balayage look too! here's the link just in case you haven't lol!! kzbin.info/www/bejne/kIW7npemrdKBna8
