This week I rented a bobcat e32 to smooth a path from the road to the lake for my parents.

Thank you so much, honestly most of this video footage was recorded before I knew I had Lyme disease. I am so grateful for all the prayers this is one of the toughest things I have had to deal with. P.S. because you’re a long time subscriber I’ll share a secret with you. Next week I reveal a new purchase for the cabin. Lol Have a great week

I’m finally starting to get the hang of it. I’m hoping if I get good enough I can help other family members out who buy land in the area too

That soil looks great for farming but not so good for driving on. Are you going to amend the soil?
@karlsoffthegrid13783 жыл бұрын
I thought it would get better when we got down to Clay and it only got worse. We packed the clay as hard as we could and then re-spread topsoil over it so we can plant grass. We didn’t do any more than that because the county will tax for having a driveway. Once the grass grows in this will primarily be used as a walking trail

Babcats are always a blast! I remember my father rented one to clear some land when building a metal workshop and garage...he only needed it for two day and ended up renting it for a week 😆 Needless to say my mom did not like having three 15ft fire pits 😆 Thanks for all the support friend we got ya back🤠🤙

What game species of fish reside in your lake?
@karlsoffthegrid13783 жыл бұрын
Mostly Perch, bluegill, Crappie, walleye, and northern pike. The other lake that I sometimes walk to is mostly Lake Trout. It definitely is a fisherman’s paradise up here. Have a great week

Nice work guys. I'm guessing a wide slab/ blank of tree smoothed down and finished or some old barn wood for the table. Looking forward to seeing it what ever you guys decide. Did you get any ducks 🦆
@karlsoffthegrid13783 жыл бұрын
Now those are some great ideas but it’s gonna be a little bit more simple than that. Duck hunting stunk this weekend the ducks have pushed through already. Oh well, there’s always next year

Looks pretty muddy if there is any type of moisture.you putting down any type of gravel?
@karlsoffthegrid13783 жыл бұрын
No we are not. At least not yet. If the county sees gravel brought in they will classify this as a driveway and tax us. We are going to primarily use it for foot traffic but once the grass grows in occasionally park an Atv or small car on the grass. We are having an unusually wet fall this year, normally it’s not this muddy. Matter of fact I have never seen it this muddy LOL. Great question, thanks for watching
