How many mAh is the battery bank have and how long will that run the camera?

One thing I’ve noticed is when the powerbank gets to a certain %, the camera is no longer able to take pictures. I have an Anker 10,000mah powerbank and when it gets to around 50%, the camera shutter stops working. It kind of just ‘thumps’ and doesn’t complete taking the picture. However the camera can still remain on, it’s just unable to take the image. I’ve had the same problem with my 5000mah Energizer powerbank - seems to stop taking images when it gets to 25%. I wonder if the current from the powerbank changes as it drains and doesn’t give the camera enough power to take the shot?

The battery bank i was using in the video was a 5V 2A output. The usb adapter itself steps up the voltage from 5v to 8.4v to work with the G85. The rating on the USB device itself says 2A-4A input, so I just quickly tried a 5V 1A power bank and had no issues with power. in regards to the 4K, I have not noticed any issues when recording in 4K. Again I retried this with a 1A 5V power bank and it still worked without issues. Thanks for watching!!

Alex Kholl it depends on your battery bank. It will say what the output current is... 5v 1a or 5v 2.1a You would connect to the 5v 2.1a output. But i did try with a couple different battery banks... My G85 worked fine with all.

the DMW-DCC8 coupler is for the Panasonic G85. and all cameras that use the BLC-12 battery. This is direct from Panasonic. panasonic.encompass.com/item/8245698/Panasonic/DMW-DCC8/Cable

Don't you need 9volt ? you might get the electronics of the camera fried up as it's un-current in 5v...

No, it's a adapter made for it, it steps up the voltage.

Yuriy Piskun looks like they changed the design. Possibly to use mutiple power banks for longer usage.

Yuriy Piskun if you scroll through the images it explains the usage. If your power bank doesnt output enough current then you can use a second port on one power bank or use 2 power banks to up the current output.

I am seeing there is no Dummy Battery listed for G85. So, yeah, all the other KZbinrs mention the same battery coupler. eBay lists all this madness. All from China.

Yeah I actually saw on one listing the GH5 camera and it definitely won't work on that camera as that is BL-19... so at the end of the day you really need to do a little research and make sure the product works with your camera... And yes from China, takes a long time too (2 Months possibly)... if you have time to wait you can save a little.... amazon you can get it in a few days... but pay a bit more... but return is easier if it doesn't work for you....
