I would guess HTB paid him for 5, hoping they might go viral. Just goes to show quality content doesn't always get the attention it deserves. There's also ye old fashioned "hacker ethic" that you figure things our as you go along, and this series kinda contradicts that. Of course "hacker" is such an abused and overused term anyways...

Where is the bash icon? I just started the introduction modul and they ask me to find the bash module but I don’t know where it is

I would use the MATE terminal, the default on Parrot, I believe it's the green outlined icon on the top bar. Perhaps unfortunately, they assume you know Bash is brought up in the terminal emulator, because that's how you use any command line programming, and Bash is the default shell, so it is available automatically whenever you start the terminal emulator("emulator" is just used in the name because it actually is imitating the hardware terminals used decades ago for mainframes and minicomputers). There's unfortunately a lot of undefined terminology. I'm not sure if it's purposeful, because in more advanced courses it is going to be assumed you know how these terms are commonly used. I'm also wondering now if there's a teaching module specifically on Bash, and that maybe what they are referring to instead of what's on the desktop of the Parrot instance.

buy a cube. For as little as $5. You are limited to one spawn a day when using for free. A single purchase will enable you multiple spawns, which are also time limited.

Mine says Parrot Terminal, not Bash terminal

There's no "Bash terminal" There is a MATE terminal emulator(default for Parrot) available on the top bar in the instance, next to a Powershell terminal icon(from Windows). You have to understand Bash is a "shell" with which you interact with with text. It will make available a variety of commands which you can string together, just like you can point and click a series of buttons or icons in a graphical interface. Bash is what you interact with, within the terminal emulator. There are dozens of different terminal emulators, some of which are Win/Lin cross platform, I won't list them here, But any terminal you happen to be using Bash in, is a "Bash terminal", that's how Ryan is using the term.
