Using AI Transcriptions in iconik

In iconik, all it takes is one click to create transcriptions with AI. Within minutes, your transcriptions can be available to view, edit, and export as WEBTT, txt, or SRT files.

Transcribing content in iconik uses AI to convert voice to text, and then attributes that text to a speaker. Adding spoken dialogue into an asset's metadata will allow it to be found when searching for spoken phrases. Transcriptions can be viewed in the transcription panel, either in transcription view, with the text separated by speakers or in the segment view, which shows individual lines with their time codes. Transcriptions can also be viewed as closed captions in the iconik player. You can also give feedback around what's being said if you select a portion of dialogue in the transcription view. Iconik will mark an in and out point in the player so that you can add a time-based comment for that section of text. If you find an error in the AI generated transcriptions, simply click on the words to change them. Speaker attribution can be changed just as easily when the transcription is ready. It can then be downloaded as a text or web vtt file, and if you prefer to use another AI service for transcriptions other than the default, you can use your own AI license and connect that to Iconik instead.
