Thanks Dr. Amanda, Quick ratio is excluded inventory so overestimating inventory does not effect this particular ratio but only current ration will be impacted in such a situation !

If i am testing any area such as cash bank ,accounts receivable or G&A All assertions need to be achieved or performed or only significant like in G&A its says Completeness ,Cut off,Classification Occurrence,Accuracy Occurrence All assertion need to be satisfied or only Occurance

Hi Dr. Amanda, I really love your videos which actually helped me to revisit and strengthen the audit foundation from time to time. Just a question, as we don't spend equal amount of effort in all assertion, do we still need to at least do one audit procedure to address the low risk assertion, or we could just focus on high risk assertion?

However, I want to ask a question about the assertions, I found from a book that they have detail tie in and timing assertions, are those assertion applicable in the international standards as well? and can you give the example for those assertion? Hmmm - the international standards don’t have anything specifically about tie in - but it would fall under the accuracy assertion.

Thankyou! I have a little Question ... I am a Student of CA it's first time of me Giving an Audit paper on 3rd of March ... I do have sufficient amount of knowledge of all these topics but always find confusing how to describe what is asked in the best way "to the point answer" and Examiners Comment which i was reading was whole about that "overall performance of students were low as they didnt tell that thing in particular way rather said more about which was'nt actually asked"

The key is to be able to understand what the question is asking you to do - eg if the question asks about inherent risk - you need to answer the specific question, not just give them a brain dump on the topic.
