That altered content is about Ai generated content. You would need to read up on that specific policy.

It shouldn't in theory, but [and this is a BIG but ] make sure you transform it in some way because you don't want KZbin to claim reused content bc others have used the same exact footage. If you say oh I went and grabbed stock footage and added a bit of text for a 15 second video they may claim that's not enough.

I want to purchase a Canva Pro subscription, and I have some questions. I would be grateful if you could answer them. 1. I can download videos from Canva and use them for my projects in another editor, right? For example, if I'm making a compilation clip from 10-20 videos, do they all need to be edited with filters, as you showed? 2. For each new project, I download the clips again - here, I think I understood everything correctly. 3. Can I use one Canva account to manage several KZbin channels? great question. TOS of service quite a bit. I left a link tot he current TOS to be sure, but I can share what I personally do as of today. 1. I use clips from Canva in another editor (I use ShotCut) because it's the quickest way I can edit that video. As far as compilation clips, you may want to check with KZbin on their TOS for only using clips. They may consider it reused content depending on how they are edited. 2. I always try to make changes to ALL clips I download because it helps make it unique. The quick way to apply the same filter to all videos & photos is to use the paint roller brush. Click on the first photo & tap the paint roller brush which is called copy style. Then click on the second photo (or video) THIS is a free feature by the way) 3. Any Canva Pro features are one time use. So if you want to use the same clip in multiple videos, they have to be downloaded multiple times. 4. I use my one canva account for multiple channels. 5. I do have a free trial for Canva pro in the description of this video if you want to give it a try for free for 30 days. Great time to give that trial a try too because on May 23rd, they'll be announcing a lot of new features. I suspect many may be Canva Pro features. I've seen a couple of new things lately, but I don't think I've seen the BIG drops yet. I hope that helps.

I use ShotCut with a lot of Canva flair. 😆 I chose it because it waa free and easy to learn. I've also been able to grow my editing skills a little bit at a time without feeling a since of overwhelm.

When you said one time use, do you mean i can download it onto my pc and upload to KZbin when i ready to launch the video or the video must be uploaded directly to KZbin from canva to avoid being flagged from KZbin for copyright? Thank you

You can download whatever it is for a one time use within a video. So for example .. if I need a b roll clip for a video, I download the clip after alterations and add to my video editor. If I want to use it a seconds time in a different video. I need to download it again.

@jeromecoulthrust1736 there is no way to upload straight from Canva to KZbin.. you download to computer then upload to KZbin. Keeping in mind the TOS you shouldn't have issues except with music which is why I don't recommend using the music from Canva since I haven't been able to figure out how to actually connect KZbin to Canva for thr music

I am not familiar with Envato so I can't speak on that. But I believe they have a heavily worded TOS as well. I have never had any issue using any of the videos as B roll. I DO download per video. I however won't use the music I'm Canva bc you have to connect to each social media platform each use. I use a gree service called Creator Mix for my music if I choose music or the free music provided in KZbin Audio Library.

As long as you've followed both Canva TOS and KZbin TOS, content made with canva pro features will be safe. However. Remember the one-time use thing with Canva Pro. Don't save videos to use later multiple times. Your content also within Canva won't change. But fresh downloads will either have a watermark, or request for you to pay a one time fee, or upgrade to pro. I used free from 2015 to 2021 and upgraded in 2021. I can't imagine not having the pro account now because thet keep adding so many awesome features.

It can be transformative, but since videos in Canva don't typically have speech then you may want to consider other ways to alter the video to use as B roll.

Many people try to reuse content by doing a voice over & captions and KZbin considers it to be reused content because it wasn't transformative enough A roll would be a video of YOU (or something you filmed). B roll would be that additional footage that was transformed within that video on top of A roll and is only a very short part of that full video. Does that make sense? @@Thesoulspectrum

It depends on how transformative you are making the content. I love using Canvas elements and animated graphics to add to the video I have personally filmed as well as finding b roll within that make my content stand out. Just remember the one time use per download for pro elements and make sure it's truly transformative.

It depends on case use. Bit I use pictures ans videos in my videos without issues. However like I stated in the tutorial. I always make some sort of change to the stock footage and I always download for each use. And I use it as b roll. Not for the duration of my entire video.

You can't sell an image from canva. There are very very specific terms for selling anything made with Canva. Since I am not a lawyer, I recommended looking at the links I dropped in the description. I believe I left several.

This was specific to videos. With elements best practice is to change something even if it's just color assuming you're referencing adding an element to a video as an overlay.

The only problem with removing video background in canva is the time it will take if you have long footage. I have two monetized channel. I sometimes use canva videos as b roll. I always adjust it in some way and I always download it for each video even if it's the same b roll.

I took a look at your channel. Here are my first thoughts: I am not sure that will be monetize-able because you're not adding anything different. You may want to rethink your strategy. Plus you're basically taking Canva's footage and offering it as other people being to use it. I believe that violates the TOS from Canva. You aren't using it to enhance your own videos. You're just taking another creator's work. Please take a look at the TOS again and contact canva if you have further questions about how you're using Canva on your KZbin Channel www.canva.com/policies/terms-of-use

I am honestly not sure because I'm not sure how transformative KZbin will consider that and whether they'll consider it "reused" content. I personally only use it for minimal B roll and use the footage I have personally filmed or recorded for most of my videos (both here and another channel that's not canva related). I would contact Canva Help to ask their thoughts on this, but it's not just Canva. It's KZbin as well. It's one reason why the answer isn't just an easy yes or no. Hope that helps.

Watch the video about the video portion. In term of thumbnails, the templates are there for you to use, but I highly recommend creating your own style simply because a lot of the thumbnails are no longer best practices for thumbnails.

We can utilize things like that in our videos at this time. I have two monetized channels and use them, but remember the pro elements are one-time use, and as mentioned in the video, it is important to make changes to them in some way. Terms of Service do change at times, so be sure to check the link in the description for terms of service.

Hey! Thanks for the video! I understand that an "educator account" cant be used for monetized videos on youtube, but for a pro account, how do you link your canva to your youtube channel? (so that they know you downloaded it from them and used in other software to edit your video which ends up on youtube) Im assuming you must need to do so, in order for them to know that you got it from them and paid to do so?

For linking to KZbin from my understanding - you only need to link for the MUSIC. To be honest, I've never been able to link my account from Canva to KZbin which is why I never use Canva music in my videos. I am very conscious to make sure I only download B roll or whatever one time per use in my videos even if you see the same clip from me in multiple videos I've downloaded it each time. I've never had an issue, but if I did - I'd connect with YT & with Canva through Canva's help center. Good question.

It could potentially be called reused content IF you don't make enough changes to provide value with your video. The way I use it. I'm adding b roll or overlays from Canva to my a roll. There are huge caveats for that. You can not sell any individual items. I'll see if I can find a link that best explains the commercial aspect of it in terms of print on demand. It's more complicated than videos in terms of yes or no.
