love it! I often make sure the continuous light is not face on to important details eg eyes, nose etc then the shutter drag doesn't obscure main details but adds edge to edge.

Very interesting video… As I was watching the beginning I thought for sure you would have used high speed sync to get a lower exposure pertaining the colors. Very informative video….😎📷

I have used a screen calibrator as well as the color checker passport. Certainly both are value when submitting for commercial business purposes. The question however may be how valuable to you feel color calibration may be when distributing images to social media. The devices (phones, tablets, computers) are extremely varied in terms of quality and color reproduction.

I often send myself a low res image to my phone before posting to see how it works. I find that my calibrated MacBook Pro screen is pretty close (in a good way) to what it looks like on iPhone

Hi Lindsay, great outcome and clearly explained - thanks, and keep 'em coming! BTW - does your black promist filter ever throw your autofocus? I have a cheaper one than yours, but autofocus goes crazy, so I have to use it on manual focus only.
@lindsayadlerphoto7 ай бұрын
not particularly, I use 1 strength as the strongest and its usually fine. I mean, if you shoot it outdoors in a backlit situation that would definitely be more challenging!

Thanks for this. I once tried a photoshoot with neewer RGB (using blue magenta and white) but the result was odd green patches and discoloring on skin and/or clothes in random places. Pls could you explain how to avoid this issue?

What was the perfect custom color calibration profile you made with Calibrite Pro HL? Panel original, AdobeRGB, ProPhotoRGB or P3-D65? How bright is your reference monitor? You left a little out of it when you promised to talk about it in this video. Of course, there is a lot of other information in the video that made the video worth watching.
@lindsayadlerphoto7 ай бұрын
some of that info was pulled out into a separate video that will be on their site, as they felt the video was too long. stay tuned.
