You can use Social Networking as well (page 177 run faster) to have your contacts team up, it a Leadership + Charisma for the runner to see how many contacts he can get to team up.... downside is that you have to pay each contact you use meaning it can get costly.

I have several issues about it, like what is the device rating opposed in the roll to set the bomb? Or can I send a file with a bomb to a device in the hope the user opens it and trigger the bomb? Wouldn't making the Threshold equal to the Connection Rating punish players for putting points into that Rating? Or does Contact Availability use some kind of roll under system?

It depends on how you look at it, I suppose. It is supposed to prevent players from abusing their contacts with high connection ratings. They have a much higher reward potential, but are harder to achieve or get in touch with.

Hey Bobby, Im a new player and your videos have been so helpful I pledged on Patreon! But there is something I have been looking for information on that I can't find. I have a question about SINs. How do you write a backstory for a SINless character who has a background in military, corporate, university or really any mundane job that would require a SIN? I know you can line them up with a Matrix crash, but this leaves out new runners. I was wondering if you could shed some light on this for me.

Hi Bobby, if Connection is the threshold to the (are they available) test, does that mean that the higher the Connection rating, the less likely you are to get hold of your (well) connected contact?

Dave Brown That's right! The idea is that if you have an important and well connected contact, he is likely more busy and hard to get ahold of.

Can there be an explanation on Sustained spells? Because I can't find much on them in the core book... Like if I hit a mage who is sustaining a spell and deal damage do they need to roll composure to keep the spell going? And I think there was something about a -2 dice penalty for sustaining a spell?

AbZhz101 handle I do not believe there is any mention in the core rules about interrupting someone who is sustaining a spell. For the penalty, anybody sustaining a spell takes a -2 penalty for all actions for each spell they are sustaining, unless they are on psyche or something. You can sustain multiple spells but the penalty stacks.
