Me too! I haven't done nuggets with them yet. I usually just foil pouch them with some Everglades seasoning, butter and lemons. Super good though. I don't understand why anybody treats them like trash fish.

Nice puffer right off the bat. They’re always cool to see even if they’re never a great fight. You ever run bait runner reels? I don’t get out to the surf as often as you manage but I’ve enjoyed using mine.

I love the puffers, as long as I'm not getting to many of them. They're super cool. I have not tried one if those, but I've been using my cast net more and have considered getting one of the Penn Fierce ones. Which one do you have?

@@fishincontrol I picked up a pair of Penn Fierce bait runner combos when the new version came out and they put the old version on clearance at Dicks. I’ve been loving them myself. Had a cheap kastking one for a weekend and returned it.

How are you liking that ozark trail grit stick? I bought one a few weeks ago and so far I really like it. Going to buy another 10’ and the 9’ version.

I really like it. It casts farther easier than the Daiwa FT, and feels really well put together for the price point. I'm probably going to grab a couple more soon for backups.
