8gb is ram storage.. 1600mhz is ram speed... Ddr3, ddr4 is ram generation... So you can buy any ddr3 8gb ram... Make sure your motherboard supports upto 16gb ram so that you can install two 8gb ram sticks. You will find details in motherboard manual or box.

My lenevo laptop has inbuilt 4GB ddr4 ram of 2133 MHZ. If i will install 3200 mhz ram card will i facw problem or i have to install samw 2133 mhz ram?

If you plan to upgrade the existing ram to 3200mhz then buy 3200mhz. Otherwise it makes no sense as your ram will be underclock to 2133. Apart from that it shouldn't be an issue.

Yes, it will work. But you may face stability issues in full pc load. Recommended to change the ram and use same frequency rams.

Hi mere pass crucial ka 8gb ddr4 2400mhz ka ram hai aur me upgrade karna chahta hu toh me 16gb ddr4 2666mhz dolgix ki ram buy karne ki soch raha hu mera pc maximum 2666mhz support kar sakta hai toh me dono ko sathme use karna chahta hu kya dono sathe me use ho sakte. Basically end me mujhe ( 8 + 16 = 24gb) ram milegi aur mujhe ye bhi pata chala apke video se ki mera pc phir 2400mhz pe chalega . Bus ye puch raha tha ki ye dono ram sath me kam kar sakta hai ki nahi?

Yes, check karna ki apke PC motherboard dual channel ram ko support karta haai ya nahi... Only then apko 24gb in-total milega.. & chalega koi problem nahi hona chahiye lekin agar kabhi kahbi pc automatically shutdown hota haa then baad me dursa ram bhi change karke same laga lena.. amzn.to/43ocjLG

Hi Bharat, Pc3 12800 = 1600mhz (fast) Pc3 10600 = 1333mhz (little slow) So, If you have installed 12800 mt/s ram already that means you have installed 1600mhz ram, it's the same thing. But if you see 1333mhz on your computer that means your motherboard either does not support 1600mhz & under clock it to 1333mhz or you have to manually set the ram speed via XMP profile. Make sure your BIOS has XMP or DIMM Profile settings. You don't have to downgrade or upgrade, just change your bios settings.

If something like this is written on the ram module sticker, that means either it is miss printed or fake sticker. 1333mhz 12800 does not exist. 12800 actually means 1600mhz & 10600 means 1333mhz. So check it in the bios & rammon application, you'll get actual details regarding your current ram. If it is 1333mhz check if your bios support xmp or dimm profile try changing it to 1600mhz. If no such settings are visible in bios make your your mb supports 1600mhz, check manuals only then you can buy new ram. Link in description.

If cas latency is same on the new ram, you can buy that.. no issues.. but the best option is to buy dual ram bundle & sell the old one on olx. So that you get best compatibility.
