Thanks. This is what I needed to know. Thanks so much for not hiding the latency issues. And yours is the only video I've found where someone actually plays polyphony into these polyphonic octave generators.

I really enjoyed this video. The sounds were absolutely fascinating! A mix of old-timey and modern.

Very useful comments on the pedal comparisons, thanks. If you feel like doing more on the programing that would be great too! Looking forward to hearing more reviews from you!

Nano Pog is a diffrent algorythm than MICRO POG ,Nano is a blend of Pitch shifter and Micro. Anyway i love them all

I think on the Pog 2 you have a slow attack - that is why you are experiencing latency. It's an option on the Pog 2.
@MrChristopherPayne7 жыл бұрын
I just watched again and see the attack is all the way down.

Don´t you know how to avoid that organ sound of Pog 2 and have more violin sound? Or should I just use micro or nano Pog?
@karingriffinelectricacoust88226 жыл бұрын
I found this is an issue even with the attack up! Latency is my biggest issue with this great pedal!

the POG2 sounded like a church organ with vibrato. awesome.

such a beautiful amplified violin sound ive heard a lot of set ups/sounds.. and yours is wonderful ..and have decided to go with your.. SHERTLER STAT V..or..B.. bridge pick up/preamp.. set up...can you please tell me which one it is.. and which bridge pick up you are using....as it does not seem to be the typical one that comes with the STAT V or B set up... the video doesn't show the pick up that clearly..so im not sure ...thank you

If i choice to buy the nano pog, wich other pedal do you recommend to have the organ sound that you have with the pog 2? Thanks a lot!

it would have been cool to see a violin with a distortion pedal
@angeloboltinimusic7 жыл бұрын
Check out some 70s Mahavishnu Orchestra for that. An acoustic violin will feedback like crazy with distortion, an electric won't.

not really...distorted violin tends to sound thin and shrill

Sandy Grungerson if you have your highs turned down and mids and lows up then it won't.

The best octave pedal to use with violin is the OC-2, the Japanese know how to make pedals

Not a fan of vibrato with this pedal... there is an annoyance factor.
