Using Exakta Varex iib for street photography in Akihabara

In Sakura season, I used very vintage camera Exakta Varex iib to do some street snap. Some cherry blossom can be seen in the video.
The lens is Carl Zeiss Jena 50mm F2.8.
It is super sharp and very good for monochrome shooting.
Film I used is Kodak Tri-X 400.

my dad bought one in 1963, so i just bought one in 2024 + 3 b&w film, to surprise my dad. first cleaning and making everything working again. What I have found is that if you have the interchangeable hood and the interchangeable lenses, you have to match them for the best focusing result, some combinations work poorly and some work very well.

Yes, Akihabara is very colorful street. When you have chance to come to Japan, Akihabara is definitely right place to go.

The 11B was the second to last model and manufactured in Dresden from '63 and the last Exakta model the VX1000 was manufactured from '67 until the company was absorbed into the Pentacon conglomerate 1970.
