Thanks for this! I need help with this and my Eventide H90. Hope your face and teeth are better after 5 years. If you’re around for private help and can do a video lesson please let me know. Thanks

Sadly, I haven’t touched a Helix in three years, so, I wouldn’t be much help. Rock on!

Thanks for making this a freeset package! Next classic album preset package should be Bryan Adams, Def Leppard Pyromania or Motley Crue.

Very cool, found this by wondering what it would sound like putting a preamp pedal into the loop of the helix... like the new victory kraken pedal

Great video!!! Can i connect 2 or 3 pedal effects in the send and return of my hx stomp? Or I should connect only one pedal by send and return connection?
@Scottsguitarplayground4 жыл бұрын
You can connect as many pedals as you like, if it sounds good to you. Go nuts!!!

Why in loop and not in front ? Guitar to Pedal to Line 6 Helix Guitar input
@Scottsguitarplayground Жыл бұрын
Because, if you put it in the loop, then you can place it anywhere in the signal path. If you plug it into the front, then it’s in front of everything. Not always great, especially if you’re like me, and like to have a compressor or Wah at the front of the signal path.

Great video!... Can you use an external looper like the Aeros Loopstation through an effects loop, or is there a better way? Thanks again!
@Scottsguitarplayground3 жыл бұрын
I’m not sure, I’ve never tried. The Helix has a built-in looper, so that’s always an option.

How does the routing work when the Send and Return are on opposite sides of the compressor? Wouldn't the signal just go around the compressor, or is there something I'm missing?
@Scottsguitarplayground6 жыл бұрын
Mark Lugg You know, I judge everything by the sound and feel, and from my perspective it sounded (and felt) better with the send and return on either side of the Compressor.
@JM-eq3sx5 жыл бұрын
@@Scottsguitarplayground I think Mark's point is, why have the compressor there at all if it's bypassed by the Loop? Wouldn't the same thing be accomplished by turning the compressor off with the bypass button, or just deleting it? The Helix Channel is a great resource by the way. Not trying to sound like know it all. Thanks!

Does this work for external tuners as well?
@Scottsguitarplayground4 жыл бұрын
You would have to assign it to a switch

I heard no noticeable difference, and I'm not convinced that the pedal was even doing anything.
