When flax is woven it is called linen. Also the threads used to make woven cloth is a linen thread. Flax is the plant, its fibres are flax fibres. I think the sort of weave that is used to weave the cloth also makes a difference. plain weave, twill, etc. etc. A woven cloth always has two directions: warp and weft. A single weave doesn't exist. What you have there is: 1. a twill weave (has diagonal lines but is two directional) and 2. a plain weave, but it could also be a satin weave because it is so shiny.

Have you tried making a frame out flax cloth and resin exclusively by applying them onto a frame made out of thin paper tubes? In other words, have you tried making a bike frame out of flax fiber only (no bamboo)?

Can I connect the bike with something other than flax+resin. I dont want to use resin cause it dont compost and cant be reused
