I love this pour-trait Lydia!! The 90s grunge look is a good fit on you (although probably not desirable attire for long-term wearing, kinda like grunge music...great but depressing if immersed in it for too long). You know? I was wondering if you were Polish because of the accordian music at the beginning of your segments... Turns out I didn't have to ask!! Haha!! Really nice how you turn pours into beautiful portraits and stuff. This one reminds me of a painting a friend's Mom had in her living room. It was an Asian girl painted in blue with her eyes looking forward so they followed you no matter where you were in the room... We were terrified of that painting!! lol But not yours! The eyes are looking away and colours are super great, especially in the hair... Okay, I ramble a lot and will stop now... Cheers, love your work, glad KZbin hooked me up with you...👍😎

Thanks for sharing your videos. What type of varnish do you use with the gold leaves? And if this varnish is compatible with oil paint or do I have to use 2 different types of varnish when combining oil with gold leaves?

Hi there! Any gold leaf that got covered with opaque oil paint lost it's shimmer, but it will still shine through somewhat when transparent oil paint is applied.😊
