Great video. Glad you enjoyed the foot pedal. It’s time I make the trek across the Alley and fish there again.

another quality one. when I take a guest fishing I put them on the front deck, allow them to put live bait, chunk or artificial in before me. When I work a shore line I let them cast in front of me.

Thanks man. I usually only fish with buddies so it’s first come first serve haha😂

@christian_masterson When you have Thanksgiving dinner at your house do you use the same rules? Do you hog the hot turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, and let your guests get cold seconds? Why would I go fishing with a captin that catches all the fish?

Seems like those glades snook are way easier to sight fish than the fish in Charlotte Harbor. Is it rare to see another fisherman when you’re down south?

I think I’ve seen 2 boats the past 3 trips down there. None fishing

@@christian_masterson Wow. Is there a local sea tow if something happened with the outboard?

I think you’d be able to get someone to come help you out. Just gotta have a VHF or Satellite phone to contact

@@christian_masterson So no cell in that area? Ive heard of the old timers poling home 100 miles after a break down out there.
@christian_masterson4 ай бұрын
@CharlotteHarborFisherman just heard a story of someone who had to pole 50 miles from cape sabal to chokoloskee because his motor in the 60s. Crazy you brought that up

Funny thing I bought the same foot pedal a month ago I’m starting to love it. You can stop trolling motor when you hook a fish which is nice where you don’t have to stop and look at your remote

Anywhere from 10-15. I like using 15 on my 4ks typically. 10 on 3500 and lower
