Is there a reason you do not pronounce the ق in قبل? You say Abel verses Kabel. Thanks.

It’s pronounced, but it’s pronounced as a glottal stop. Kind of like the catch in your throat when you say uh-oh. Arabic dialects vary a lot by how they pronounce ق. Some say it how I just mentioned, some pronounce it like a g sound.
