1:46 & The exact same as maa ilyy = malēsh and for maa ma3iyy = maa ma3yyish or simple ma3yyish

This video made a lot of things click for me! I have definitely heard bid-eesh from kids in Jordan. My Palestinian/Jordanian in-laws add the sh and drop the maa with bariff and akelt a lot. I’m pretty sure- unless I am hearing them wrong/misunderstanding.

Another great video! Could you do a video or short on quantifiers (all, most, some, none, etc)?

i’ve heard نعرفش for i don’t know without the ما

Hi, it seems to me that I also heard بعرفش without ما, even if it doesn't end with ي. Is this pissible or maybe I did not get the ما before?
@IlIlIllllllI11 ай бұрын
It’s possible - we Jordanians don’t say “Ma” before it. It’s usually the Egyptians who do.

@pieroschneider2783 I was told by Maha Yaqub from learn arabic with Maha that Palestinians from all over Palestine would not always use the maa for the negation

Correct, we say this too! Exception to the exception haha

What about the use of مو and مش?
@schoolofyalla11 ай бұрын
Both of these are typically used for nouns and adjectives (but not verbs) and can be used interchangeably.
