Great video, seeing the project organization is as interesting as seeing the ml stuff itself!

@@mrdbourke I have been trying to migrate from evernote to Notion , but found the application a bit overwhelming. A few question that could be answered : Q1: How does one break up a large project into actionable items that take less than a few hours to do per day ? Q2: How do you estimate how much time a task could take ? How much time do you utilize in a day for planning before execution of the project ? Q3: How to make a yearly, monthly, weekly and daily calendar progress for a project in Notion ? Q4: If you have scheduled a few topics per day, but due to lack of motivation or some external circumstances the tasks are not done. How do you restructure your to-do list / calendar ? Q5: How does one get motivated to keep updating your progress because after a certain amount of days I just lose the motivation to keep updating my Notebook.

Inspiring. See things in action like this gives me confidence that I can also build Computer Vision projects that I am curious about. I there is a long way to reach your stage but I am happy to see what I can envision is also a reality. Thank you Mate 😌🙏🏻 Also you earned a sub from me 👍🏻

Hey Daniel, I had a query around DatasetCatalog.register function of Detectron 2. I'm trying to build a model using custom dataset but due to some obligations, I can't upload the data anywhere. Does the register function exports the data out of our system
@mrdbourke3 жыл бұрын
Not if you’re running it locally, the register is to store it in Detectron2’s data loaders

Daniel, one more thing, would you recommend Notion, how often do you use it and how has it helped your productivity?
@mrdbourke4 жыл бұрын
Notion is slowly replacing every other app I use for any kind of writing. I’d highly recommend it. I could probably make a video on it, anything you’d like to see?

Just how do you remain so consistent with the things that you do?

80% of my time is spent cutting things out which don’t matter. So the ones which do stick around.
