Isn't a bigger attack better? The hitbox is always the same, but i don't think everyone dodging is gonna dodge really close to the vfx and a bigger attack will control more area since every enemy will go for the visual, right?

I guess you could say that a bigger vfx would control more area because people will go farter away, but I would say it's more important to actually hit the enemy, and so a smaller one is better. People don't TRY to dodge close to the vfx but they subconciously do according to the size of the bullet. Also, if the bullet is smaller then there's a lesser chance that the enemy will see it in their peripheral vision if they're focused on something else. Great question man!
