Using MS Word to Add Sentiments to Your Cards

This is incredibly helpful Linda! I saw this awhile back & forgot to save it, I'm soooo glad I was able to find it again as I want to print baby shower invitations, adding the to, from, date, etc onto the cricut baby bottle image.

Thank you for sharing. This is an excellent tutorial and I will definitely try this! One tip though, if you right click on a shape in Word, one of the options in the drop down menu is "Add Text". That way, you don't have to add a text box to the shape.

Yes, this is true. However, you can't manipulate the text in the Shape as easily as if you used a Text box, nor can you place the words closer together. You only have one option to move or change the text in the Shape.

You don't need to backspace to clear the text box. Since the contents are already highlighted, you can just start typing your sentiment; it will clear it automatically and insert only what you type. Will save you a couple of keystrokes.

I see that she has not answered your question, so I will take the liberty to do so for you. I use text boxes sized at 5.5x4.25 as she describes, use the outline to position them onto the right top side of a letter size document, and type and format my sentiment inside that outline. Remember to remove the outline before printing. I then print it onto cardstock before I add any embellishments for stamping. Hope this is clear enough, it works great for personalizing any sentiment I want to send to the recipient.
