You know how many tools I've bought cause I'm a nerd? Takes one to know one 😂beautiful kit, from Ford as well. Love it!!! 3 videos in one day, you're spoiling us Luis! Great video, I picked up a lot from it bro

I love buying tools too Mark! Sometimes they go years without using. I bought that kit from a dealership auctioning off their stuff! The reason there is 3 videos is because I changed my mind about making a super long video 😂

Very impressive work Luis!! Well I am proud to admit that I am a nerd too. 😄As a matter of fact places like auto parts stores and not to mention Home Depot are dangerous places for me because I want to buy every tool I see... 🤣🤣

I try to buy everything too! There’s a lot of guys like us James! 😂 I know exactly what you mean, I’ve bought tools for myself years ago that are still in the box! Including a fancy welding machine.

Greetings from canada. Great video. Question my friend. I couldnt find the valve face grinding tool you use. Would you mind sharing the link?
@MrBlitzkrieg1987 Жыл бұрын
Hello, thank you for watching and I appreciate your comment! The cutter that I used on this video to reface the valve is an older model that isn’t for sale anymore, Neway has a revised valve facer that has a handle so spin the cutter so you don’t need to turn your wrist so many times. The part number to the ones I used are #4637762 but like I said I recommend you get the newer version instead

Great tip with the hose and clamp, I too do not like the suction cup
@MrBlitzkrieg198710 ай бұрын
Thank you! I’ve given the conventional tool a few chances, what usually happens is I end up getting some of the grinding compound on it and it never works again after that!

@@MrBlitzkrieg1987 I got a set of neway cutters off ebay that only had 15⁰ and 45⁰ on them. What is the 15⁰ for?
@MrBlitzkrieg198710 ай бұрын
You can get them in several different angles specially when you want to do a performance valve job with more than the standard 3 angle cut. The 15 would come into play outside by the combustion chamber before the 30 and the 45. But you would only use it if you also have a 30 degree
@pauliebots10 ай бұрын
Looks like I gotta buy the 30⁰ for a 15,30,45...3 angle valve job. I did hear you can get away with just the 45 for street use.@@MrBlitzkrieg1987

So having recut the head valve seats,how does this affect the none adjustable hydraulic valve lifters ref valve clearance etc ?
@MrBlitzkrieg19874 ай бұрын
@@colin5064 Hi, the effects on those parts would be almost negligible, since you are removing a very small amount of material. The effect on those parts is much greater when you resurface the cylinder head, because that can change the geometry.

@MrBlitzkrieg19872 ай бұрын
@@OscarHernandez-rj1dl hi, it really depends on the size of your valves, thi bigger cutters can cost over $200 and the smaller ones under $100. I paid $600 for that red box that has different cutters but they were used

My videos are for DIY projects, personally I have zero doubts in my own ability to do this work, but if you feel like there might be an issue doing it this way, taking your personal heads to the machine shop is 💯 the safest bet! Im simply trying to inspire people to work on their own cars, Im not trying to sell or work on anyone else’s stuff, thats the reason I didn’t test them, Im just that confident in myself 🫡

I'm a nerd too I guess? I'd rather spend money on a quality tool, even if I might only use it once. That way, I'll still have a quality tool to use if there is a next time, rather than buy a cheap tool that is only usable once! and I'd rather do that than pay someone good money to mess up, which happens most of the time. Good video!
@MrBlitzkrieg19877 ай бұрын
I appreciate you watching! I definitely do relate to what you are saying! Sometimes I splurge on tools whenever I know that I will use them for something important, but I also buy cheap stuff when I need something disposable 🤣! There are a lot of people who think like you and me, people who rather learn to do a job and to make sure it is well done! Take care my friend! 🫡

No, no! The lapping band should be more to the front of the valve - not in the middle as You say.
