Using Paper Forms with Builder Gel

Thank you for this clear demonstration and instructions. I struggle with placing the paper forms on, applying the BG isn’t my issue, it’s those darn forms! I wish there was a simpler (and faster) method to lengthen with the builder gel.

To be honest, I don’t recall. What I can tell you is starting out it would take me like an hour for one hand. I no longer use builder gel but when I got faster added, I could do it in half amount of time.

My tips keep bending down with the built forms, very frustrating! I don't want to make them super thick but the bend is driving me insane!

I see what you mean. I have had success with Acrygel from red iguana and it’s way easier to use and it doesn’t require more than 1-2 layers for strength

Well...what other forms are there besides paper?? I thought this was a homemade tutorial. :/

You could also use the plastic nail forms that are full cover. You would want to use it with something thicker, such as acrygel or poly gel.

I’ve developed a gel allergy a while back so I don’t use builder gel much

​@@beautifuldisasternails oh no 😮 have you found any products that you can still use? ( curious , because I'm slightly sensitive to gels and am always looking for better brands with less allergens etc ).

@@Oniwabanshugirl actually yes there is one gel product that has not done me wrong for a couple years now. It’s the delicate gel by triple D it is a two and one base/Topcoat. in my last video that I posted I applied acrylic full. Cover tips with the delicate gel. I wore it for two weeks without any issues.

@@Oniwabanshugirl one more thing I try not to use gel products more than once, or twice a month. I don’t want to develop an allergy to delicate gel either.
