Using Pixieset to Sell Digital Images

hi, fellow photographer here. we recently switched to pixieset and just noticed the upload picture file size is reduced by about 75%. do you see that happening? this is not good for my clients to download digital as they will not get the same quality as actual.

Hi, Kaylie. Thank you for making the video. Got a general question. I am just getting started with Pixieset and my photography journey, I was hoping to use Pixieset for my client photoshoots but also general stock photos to which I'd look to sell to interested parties. How best you think to go about setting up a gallery with general stock photos to promote for sale on Pixieset? If this is something you also do? Thanks

Kaylie, so do your email the coupon, do you add the coupon to the gallery when you deliver for them to download their package, I'm confused, I need some direction on how to deliver the coupon.

in my email going out with the gallery, it states: "With your session, you receive TEN pictures to download. When you select your pictures, please simply add them to your cart in the gallery below. To download your picture, your coupon code is "MYTEN". This code is only good once, so make sure you pick your absolute favorite and keep your download in a safe place."

do you have to make a new coupon for every session? or can you use it like price sheets?

like price sheets. I just put that it's available to use on all galleries, just one time per collection.

Do you need a business license to do all this? I would only sell digital downloads

any time you collect money for a service, you require a business license. i am licensed and insured :)

Will it show the watermark when they download the pictures?

hey Maricela! No, pixieset puts the watermark on there just for the online viewing gallery at my request. The digital downloads will not have the watermark on there.
