Hey Jay. In Pr, I used to zoom in to a face, mask a patch of skin, invert the mask, and then adjust the color balance to the skin-line on the vector scope.How do I do that in resolve? Also, is there a way to zoom in on an image and drag it around without having to use the X Y's in inspector? Keep up the good work!

Hey Jerry! Create a power window over the patch of skin, and then click the little magic wand button in the top left of the playback monitor. that will isolate the skin. Once you've corrected it, you can remove the power window by clicking on the shape in the power window section, and that correction will be applied to the rest of the image. As far as zooming and positioning is concerned, on the edit page, just below the playback monitor there's a little dropdown box. Click that and choose the transform option and you should be able to do what you're asking about.

Have you tried putting a different audio clip in there and seeing if you have the same problem?

I have a video on the minimum system requirements to run Davinci Resolve, and a video on how to get smooth playback. As far as rendering quickly, that's all going to be dependent on your system specs
@abdallahkhalil64344 жыл бұрын
Thank you appreciated I will watch both of them, the thing is I'm starting a KZbin channel and I'm struggling cause of my old laptop doing my best and as editing vedio it's my hobby

Why you didn't just track the power window for the girl walking instead of manually moving it?
@JayLippman4 жыл бұрын
Like I said in the video, when I was playing around with it before recording the video, the tracking was getting weird. It kept losing the subject. It was just easier to do it manually with this particular clip.

Have you actually discovered on your own video how the wall behind you, where it's the corner behind you, it's "alive" :) it's floating around. Sure enough due to editing your power window trick :)
@JayLippman4 жыл бұрын
I do notice that, but it's not due to the power window. That was happening before I put the power window on. Might be the key light hitting the corner and mixing with the light that's set up behind those microphones.

I'll never understand why people think a plastic strap and semi circular hole looks good in their forehead.
