Just an addition: When you assign the same axis as you did for rudder to the wheelbrakes left and respectively right, you just need to add a modifier, meaning a Key on your keyboard like str or alt. Now, when ever I need the axis to work as brake, I just have to hold down the assigned modifier and the pedals will work as brakes. if I release the key, the pedals work as rudders. Thank you for doing a nice tutorial, mate!

Might not be rudder pedals but seems a lot better than the twist axis on your stick and opens up more stick buying options without twist axis without spending a few hundred bucks on rudder pedals

Hey man, I've got T3PA pro pedals and for some reason mine start on the left side of the graph and go to the right whereas yours start on the right and travel down to the left therefore you can adjust your Y saturation to 50, when I do it all it does it limits my rudder output to 50 because it travels from 0 to 50 rather than from 50 to 0 like yours, I have no clue how to flip that, any idea ?

AWESOME video, haven't set up the curves quite yet but used my G27 pedals and saved myself a couple hundred dollars (it also makes switching over to my racing wheel all that much easier which is an added bonus). Obviously it's not the absolute best solution, and I found if you accidentally bump the other pedal it kind of overrides your current input....but still, absolutely fantastic. Thanks very much for this useful video!!
@MrVegetablemann2 жыл бұрын
Yeah I noticed that too! I eventually bought myself a sim rig (which I really need to make a video on) that can house both sets of pedals without moving anything now but it was so handy to be able to use the racing pedals for both.

if you get the Leo Bodnar adapter you can use their software to set deadzones on either side of the axis and that will help with the override inputs, especially if your pedals are really touchy like mine

Invert your clutch and throtlle pedal in your racesim software!! Then it will start in the middle. Hope this helps! 😘

Thanks for the tutorial! Using Fanatec club sport LC pedals set up as in the video. Once I push either the gas or brake, the rudder is stuck to the corresponding side. The only way to fl straight pushing a pedal is to hold down one of the pedals half way. I’m positive it’s setup as described in the video. 50/50 one side inverted. Pedals connected directly to pc. I think this is the issue others are describing.

so i installed ucr and vjoy, and now every second or third timei push the gas pedal for right rudder, it gets stuck half way back to center, but it only does it in vjoy. if i go to calibrate the club sport pedals, it never gets stuck.

I have the Elite Pedals with LC plugged from the LC to the pc with the usb cable. I want to use them as rudder pedals in dcs. in DCS they show up and I can assign them BUT, for some reason they are opposite…. I have them both as 50% on the Y axis and one is inverted BUT when the clutch is out the rudder goes to the left a f when I push the clutch in the rudder comes back to the centre, even if I invert that axis it just goes to the right side and does the same thing . so essentially both left and right pedal are already to the side and when I push the clutch in they come back to the centre has anyone else got this to work and hoe did they it thanks
@marcw.54922 жыл бұрын
You can buy the cable end from Fanatec... i have done. I also cannot get the rudder to move to FULL by pressing either pedal. It is at FULL in the resting position, centered when both pedals are depressed fully - So I fly with both pedals fully depresed and release either when needed. When i want to release the pedals completely (not hold them in) i have a RUDDER CENTER button to alleviate the rudder resting rudder position issue (full right rudder in my case). I use these pedals in Xplane and MSFS but for some reason it appears DCS sees the FANATEC pedals in reverse postition ? 0 to 100 is in reverse. I would have thought reversing the slope of the line using User Curve feature would fix but no.
